                              RESOLUTION NO. 21256
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
                 AGREEMENT WITH THE TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF
                 TRANSPORTATION RELATIVE TO THE WIDENING OF
                 WILCOX BOULEVARD AT ROANOKE AVENUE AND
                 UPGRADING OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL, STATE CONTRACT
                 NO. STP-H-3300(29), WHEREBY THE DEPARTMENT OF
                 TRANSPORTATION WILL PAY FOR ONE HUNDRED PERCENT
                 (100%) OF THE ACTUAL PROJECT COST UP TO FIFTY
                 THOUSAND DOLLARS ($50,000.00).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       execution of an Agreement with the Tennessee Department of
       Transportation relative to the widening of Wilcox Boulevard at
       Roanoke Avenue and upgrading of the traffic signal, State 
Contract
       No. STP-H-3300(29), whereby the Department of Transportation will 

       pay for 100% of the actual project cost up to $50,000.00.
